The SBCA declared 10 more dilapidated, dangerous and unusable buildings in different areas

KARACHI: The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has issued warning notices to the residents of Saddar Town, Lyari Town and Liaquatabad Town declaring more than 10 dilapidated and damaged buildings as dangerous and unusable.

According to details, on the special instructions of the Director General of Sindh Building Control Authority, a committee comprising architects and engineers for dangerous buildings surveyed various buildings in Liaquatabad, Saddar and Lyari Town immediately after the recent monsoon rains. More than 10 buildings of the SBCA have been declared dangerous and uninhabitable and unusable, after which the list of 422 buildings has been further increased by the SBCA.

Residents have been issued warning notices to evacuate all declared dangerous buildings immediately.
