SHC settled 51y long land dispute Between KMC & Karim Housing Society

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has settled a land lease dispute in the PECHS area of ​​Karachi after 51 years. The apex court restrained the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and other concerned officials from taking any action against the housing society.

The apex court directed the KMC officials not to take any action against Karim Housing Society in future also. A two-member bench headed by Justice Umar Sial delivered the reserved judgment on the petition filed by the residents of Karim Housing Society in PECHS Block 8 ​​Karachi.

The court restrained the KMC from taking any action against the housing society. The court dealt with the petition filed by the residents of the society.

Earlier, the petitioner had said that a tender had been issued for the construction of an amusement park in PECHS Block-8. Residents and the Ministry of Work Pakistan had objected to the construction of the amusement park. All the concerned agencies had not objected to the conversion of the park land into a housing society.
