The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has issued an important public notice stating that the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) will soon launch drive against dilapidated, dangerous, unsafe, illegal and gray structures in metropolitan city. Action is being taken against them soon and these dilapidated buildings will be evacuated from the occupants and vacant buildings and illegal structures will be demolished.
A public notice issued by the SBCA said that the operation would be carried out in Sindh as required and protection of life and property of the citizens would be ensured.
The public notice further said that if any officer/employee would be found to be involved in the illegal construction of buildings/portions etc. in any way, they would be removed from the post or even from the department.
All constructions that have not been approved under the Sindh Building Control Ordinance (SBCO) will be considered unsafe, dilapidated or illegal and action will be taken against them and the public is requested to do so. Evacuate or refrain from investing in buildings and structures to avoid any potential damage.
SBCA has also requested the cooperation of Sindh Government, Local Government, Police and Rangers for the grand anti-encroachment campaign to be launched in the near future.
