SBCA requested police to vacate the dilapidated building in Landhi

KARACHI: The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has requested the Quaidabad police to vacate the building in Landhi which was declared dilapidated.

According to details, action is being taken by the Sindh Building Control Authority against the buildings which were declared dilapidated to save the loss of human lives.

The SBCA has requested the Quaidabad police to vacate the building which was declared dilapidated in Landhi area of ​​Karachi.

The petition said that the building on Plot C-165 near the textile mill has been damaged, due to which the lives of the occupants of the damaged building and its surroundings are in danger

The Sindh Building Control Authority said that the building should be vacated immediately so that it could be demolished.

Remember that, after the incident of building collapse in Lyari, Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has conducted a survey in the area and declared 46 more buildings in Lyari as dangerous, out of which 15 buildings are in danger of collapsing at any time.

The exhumation of bodies from the rubble of a collapsed building in Lyari area of ​​Karachi is going on for the fourth day. The bodies of three persons including a woman were exhumed last night, after which the death toll rose to 22.
