Karachi: The provincial government has announced of building 24 underpasses and flyovers at various intersections to facilitate the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) with clear passages for its smooth operation, a news source reported. As per the publication, Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah chaired a meeting in which the said decision was made.
The meeting was informed that the construction of underpasses and flyovers was inevitable as several roads had been developed on various locations along the KCR route. The chief secretary directed a survey committee to manage the initiative and submit a report until March 20. He also directed the officials to issue tenders for fencing in the next three days – for both sides of the KCR track.
