Property Auction of Mullah Akhtar Mansoor more than 20 Million PKR announced

KARACHI: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) instructed the investigating officer to complete the auction of five properties that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claimed were former Afghan Taliban militants. The leader was bought by Mullah Akhtar Mansoor.

It is to be noted that investigations into terrorist financing and money laundering revealed that Mullah Akhtar Mansoor had purchased these properties using his fake identity.

The FIA ​​named Mullah Mansoor alias Mohammed Wali alias Gul Mohammad, Akhtar Mohammad and Ammar in a case under sections 11 (h), 420, 468 and 471 of the Pakistan Penal Code in 2019.

In this regard, the matter was referred to the ATC 2 judge on January 24 for submitting a compliance report on the order of completion of the auction of properties.

According to state prosecutor Ali Raza Abbasi, the judge directed the investigating officer Rahmatullah Domki to complete the auction of the property and submit the execution report to the hearing on February 26.

According to this, Bismillah Terrace Flat B-16 Mullah Mansour bought Rs 14 lakh in Scheme-33 Gulzar Hijri in Karachi area.

According to the charge sheet, on July 19, 2019, Mullah Mansoor bought a flat number B-6-3, Rs 36 lakh, 20 thousand rupees, at Ammar Tour on Shaheed Millat Road Karachi.

Similarly, another flat in the Samiya Residency, number 801, near Gulistan-e-Anj Marriage Hall on Shaheed Millat Road, Karachi, was purchased for payment of Rs. 73.7 million.

On December 1, 2009, Mullah Mansoor organized the ‘KD Scheme-45’ in Karachi. In Gulshan-e-Maymar, Sector-W, Sub-Sector-3, 441.67 Sq. Yd. Plot No. B-65 was purchased for Rs. 54 lakhs. The plot was registered in the name of Gul Mohammad.

The charge sheet states that “the sale document between the seller Arshad Mazhar and the buyer Gul Mohammad showed the value of the plot at Rs 4 lakh 86 thousand 500 instead of Rs 54 lakh.”
