partial business activity began in the province between a 6 AM to 4 PM time frame

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah said that only partial business activity has began in the Sindh province between 6 AM to 4 PM time frame – with the lock down being reinstated after 5 PM – as per the government’s directive calling for an ‘eased lock down’ under its suggested standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Shah said in a meeting with the Traders Associations that apart from shopping malls and plazas, all other shops and markets would be allowed to operate. Provincial ministers including Saeed Ghani, Dr Azra Pechuho, Ikram Dharejo, Nasir Shah, Chief Secretary Mumtaz Shah, Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar, and leaders of various trade associations attended the meeting.

Furthermore, the chief minister also underlined the businesses and industries not cleared for opening, such as marriage halls, shopping malls, plazas, cinemas, mosques, games shops, gyms, cafes, hotels, restaurants, public processions and gathering, and organised crowd events.
