Islamabad: Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal recently revealed that Pakistan had begun manufacturing personal protection equipment (PPE), including face masks, protective gowns, and goggles, to assist local front line medics and law enforcement agencies in the combat against COVID-19.
The minister of science and technology Fawad Chauhdry said that Pakistan was producing four thousand litres of sanitizer per day, along with large quantities of PK-95 face masks – Pakistani made equivalent of N-95 masks.
