ISLAMABAD: Minister for Housing Mian Mahmood Al-Rasheed in a meeting with President Arif Alvi said that under the New Pakistan Housing Project (NPHP), construction of large scale houses will start in a few months. President Arif Alvi directed that provide all facilities to private sector which is engaged in NPHP.
According to details, Minister for Housing Mian Mahmood Al-Rasheed had a meeting with President Arif Alvi in which local body elections and overall political situation were discussed in detail.
During the meeting, Mahmood Rasheed briefed about the progress of New Pakistan Housing Project in Punjab and said that construction of large scale houses in Punjab would start in a few months.
Mian Mahmood Al-Rasheed said that the cooperation of private sector is also being sought for the construction of houses and policies related to housing are being formulated in consultation with the stakeholders
The President directed to provide facilities to the private sector in the New Pakistan Housing Project.
It may be recalled that in February this year, an agreement was reached to provide interest free loan for construction of houses under New Pakistan Housing Project, under which a loan of Rs.
It may be recalled that the New Pakistan Housing Program was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on July 15, 2019, under which poor citizens will be provided their homes in easy installments.
It may be recalled that the Prime Minister said that the New Pakistan Housing Project is the most important project of the present government. The sector will be promoted.
