The fraud case of the Fazaia housing project is now nearing its logical conclusion, Fazaia Housing Project was launched in 2015 in Scheme 45 Karachi jointly by the Air Force and Maxim Group of Marketing.
Including a large number of Overseas Pakistanis more than 6,000 citizens had invested Rs 13 billion in the housing project, but it all turned out to be a hoax, but now it has came to an end. The victims of the Fazaia Housing Scheme were protested several times and demanded 100% refund. After which the matter reached NAB and the Court.
After six months of tireless work of NAB’s investigation officer Aslam Pervez Abro and excellent cooperation with the victims, the matter of this housing scheme is now about to reach its logical conclusion. NAB has begun 100% refund process and now NAB is receiving refund applications to the investors.
According to the NAB authorities, the payment will be made to the victims on the first come first served basis
NAB has also published advertisements in newspapers regarding refunds.
The token can be obtained by submitting the refund application along with the following documents to the NAB address “Investigation Wing-2, Old Balochistan House, Near Ziauddin Hospital, Clifton Block 2”.
For citizens residing in Pakistan
Documents required for submission of application to NAB: A Refund application to NAB along with original file with challan, original allotment letter, ledger copy of last deposited amount, 2 copies of CNIC of plot owner.
For Overseas Pakistanis
Request Application for Refund to NAB with Certified Authority Letter, 2 copies of Plot Owner’s CNIC, 2 Copies of Authorized Person’s CNIC.
Money will be refunded by NAB within 15 days after after receiving token from the NAB office after submission of application along documents mentioned above.
Those who have already submitted the application for refund to NAB with original documents and have the original refund slip of Fazaia Housing Scheme Karachi, will now have to wait, they will be entertained on the priority basis.
It is to be noted that Pakistan Air Force is fully working with NAB to provide all facilities to the victims and is trying to complete the refund process easily.
If a submitted challan by an individual is lost, they will have to submit a Missing Slip Application and Affidavit. However, there is no need to submit a ” Police Roznamcha “.
Overseas Pakistanis who have deposited money directly through the bank and do not have the original challan, must submit an affidavit.
