Karachi: Bahria Town Karachi recently notified the relocation of its sales and transfer operations (pertaining to the scheme’s high-rise projects) to the Bahria Town Tower building — situated on the city’s Tariq Road, according to the developer’s official Facebook page.
Previously, the Bahria Town Karachi administration had been running the operations from the Bahria Icon Tower – located on Shahrah-e-Firdousi, Clifton.
While Bahria Town has not disclosed the reason behind the relocation, the National Accountability Bureau is currently investigating a case against encroachments reported on the land which hosts the Bahria Icon Tower building.
According to reports, the Bahria Icon Town land, originally marked as an amenity plot, was illegally allotted to the developer. The Icon Tower, which is currently the tallest building of Pakistan, features a 62 and a 40 storey-building; comprising commercial and residential units.
